The objectives of the Symposium are exchanging knowledge in the fields of biodiversity, peat accumulation and paludification, protection of the biodiversity and mires biospheric functions, integrated ecological monitoring of mire ecosystems, role of peatlands in the global carbon cycle, as well as evaluation of the anthropogenic impact on mire ecosystems, introduction of contemporary technologies for the wise use of natural resources and the modeling peat accumulation in the context of global climate change.
Симпозиум ставит своей целью содействовать широкому обмену знаний в области изучения биоразнообразия, процессов заболачивания и сохранения биосферных функций болот и заболоченных лесов, комплексного экологического мониторинга болотных экосистем, роли болот в глобальном цикле углерода, а также оценки антропогенного воздействия на функционирование торфяных болот и вопросов внедрения современных технологий щадящего природопользования, моделирования процессов торфонакопления при глобальном изменении климата.

Field Symposium will include plenary and sectional sessions, a round table and scientific field excursions: to “Kondinsky Lakes” Nature Park (450 km west of Khanty-Mansiysk), to Mukhrino International Field Station (with a demonstration of equipment and measurement methods used) and to the peatlands of Surgut Polesie and Ob River valley. Withing a few days of excursions, participants will be able to see all the variety of mire types in the taiga zone of Western Siberia.
Программа Полевого Симпозиума будет включать пленарные и секционные заседания, круглый стол и полевые экскурсии: в природный парк «Кондинские озера» (450 км на запад от Ханты-Мансийска), на международный полевой стационар «Мухрино» (с демонстрацией оборудования и используемых измерительных методов) и на болота Сургутского Полесья и долины Оби.
На экскурсиях всего за несколько дней участники смогут увидеть все разнообразие типов болот таежной зоны Западной Сибири.
Draft program / Предварительная программа
June, 27 – Arrival of participants at Khanty-Mansiysk.
June, 28 – July, 01 – Excursion А: four-days excursion to “Kondinsky Lakes” Nature Park with visits to different mire types and oil field infrastructure (borehole and gas condensate plant).
July, 02 – 03 – Plenary and sectional sessions, a round table «Mires as specially protected ecosystems and their role in sustainable development of regions».
July, 04 – Excursion В: one-day excursion to Mukhrino International Field Station or to the bogs of the Priobskoye oil field (optional).
July, 05 – 08 – Excursion С: four-days excursion to Surgut Polesie with visit to different types of terraced bogs along the right bank of the Ob river.
July, 09 – Departure participants from Surgut or Khanty-Mansiysk.

Within the framework of the Symposium plenary, sectional and poster reports are planned (В рамках симпозиума запланированы пленарные, секционные и стендовые доклады.)
Publication of abstracts and papers / Публикация материалов:
The abstracts will be published after the payment of a registration fee and handed over to the participants at arrival.
During follow-up to the symposium, the best articles will be published in the peer-reviewed journal «Environmental Dynamics and Global Climate Change». A special issue of the journal IOP Conf. Series: Earth and Environmental Science, is also planned in 2022
Тезисы докладов будут опубликованы после оплаты регистрационного взноса и предоставлены участникам до начала работы симпозиума.
По итогам Симпозиума лучшие доклады будут опубликованы в рецензируемом журнале «Динамика окружающей среды и глобальные изменения климата». Планируется также подготовка специального выпуска в виде приложения к журналу IOP.
REGISTRAION FEE / РЕГИСТРАЦИОННЫЙ ВЗНОС
Participants from Russia and CIS countries / Для участников из России и стран СНГ:
Full – 1500 rubles, postgraduate students – 700 rubles. In the case of absentee participation and the publication of abstracts without Symposium attendance — the registration fee is 500 rubles.
Полный – 1500 руб., аспирантам – 700 руб. В случае заочного участия – публикации материалов без посещения симпозиума – размер оргвзноса составляет 500 руб.
Other participants / Для иностранных участников:
Full – 250 euro, accompanying persons – 150 euro, postgraduate students – 100 euro. Publication of abstracts without attending the symposium – 25 euro.
Полный – 250 евро, сопровождающим лицам – 150 евро, аспирантам – 100 евро. Публикации материалов без посещения симпозиума – 25 евро.
Registration fee includes coffee–breaks, 1-day excursion, publication of Symposium papers, as well as the distribution of the abstract books to the absentee participants. Accommodation in Khanty-Mansiysk during the Symposium is paid additionally by the participants. Yugra State University provides the accommodation in University dormitories (about 500 rubles / night) or assists in finding appropriate city hotels (from 1500 to 5000 rubles / night).
Регистрационный взнос включает оплату кофе-брейков, однодневной экскурсии, расходов на подготовку и публикацию тезисов, а также рассылки материалов заочным участникам. Проживание в Ханты-Мансийске во время проведение симпозиума оплачивается участниками дополнительно. Предлагается размещение в общежитиях Югорского государственного университета (около 500 руб./сут.) или в гостиницах города (от 1500 руб./сут. до 5000 руб./сут.).

The excursion cost includes: transfer, 3 meals, accommodation (Excursion А). Accommodation within the Excursion С in Lyantor is paid additionally by the participants. Excursion В: is paid from the funds of the Organizing Committee.
В стоимость экскурсии входят проезд, 3-х разовое питание, проживание (экскурсия А). Проживание во время экскурсии С в г. Лянторе оплачивается дополнительно. Экскурсия В: оплачивается из средств Оргкомитета.
