On August 26 – September 4, 2016 Yugra State University hosted the Summer School “Functioning of boreal raised bogs of West Siberia and their response to climate change”. The School was organized together with University of Helsinki, Finland and Lund University, Sweden with support of the Nordic-Russian Cooperation Programme in Education and Research. Summer School “Functioning of boreal raised bogs of West Siberia and their response to climate change” will be organized by Yugra State University, Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, University of Helsinki, Finland and Lund University, Sweden with support of the Nordic-Russian Cooperation Programme in Education and Research.

The School will take place on August 26 – September 4, 2016. The program will include field trips, taking measurements, laboratory work, data analysis, a workshop in micrometeorological greenhouse gas measurement techniques (eddy-covariance) etc. Participants can get scholarships to cover travel expenses and fee.
